Thomas Barry, MD
Dr. Thomas Barry relocated to the desert in 2007 from the San Luis Obispo area. He has over twenty years experience in general orthopedics and sports medicine. His practice has included fracture surgery, hand surgery, arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder, rotator cuff repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, total joint replacement, treatment of pediatric injuries and evaluation of spinal problems.
Dr. Barry is a graduate of Cornell University and received his medical degree from the University of Vermont. He did a surgical internship at SUNY-Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, and then did one year of a neurosurgery residency at Stanford Medical Center. He also completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Stanford Medical Center. In 1984, he did a sports medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Barry is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
