Glenn M. Fischberg, MD
Dr. Fischberg attended New York University School of Arts and Science, where he earned a Bachelor of Art in Chemistry, graduating Summa cum laude. Dr. Fischberg earned his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Emory University School of Medicine. His neurology residency was completed at Emory University School of Medicine and the University of Miami School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fischberg then completed a fellowship in Cerebrovascular Diseases at the University of Southern California (Keck) School of Medicine. He remained at the University of Southern California, as an Assistant Professor of Neurology, Acting Director of the Stroke Program and then as Co-Director of the Neuro Critical Care Program. He served as Director of Neurocritical Care at the Nevada Neurosciences Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada for several years and performed a formal Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Fischberg has performed extensive research and co-authored numerous papers on the prevention, management and treatment of Strokes. Dr. Fischberg is a Stroke Council Member of the American Stroke Association and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Board Certifications in Adult Neurology and Vascular Neurology. Dr. Fischberg’s clinical specialties include Neurocritical Care and Vascular Neurology.
